Business Partner of the Year 2012

Congratulations to Pinnacle Computing, our Sage User Network Business Partner of the Year 2012. The result was announced at our AGM, 13 February 2013. Many thanks to Rixonway Kitchens, Dewsbury for hosting the event and to all the members who attended. We are delighted that Pinnacle have been recognised for providing excellent service to their customers. Because the survey is completed by our members based on their experience of the service they have received, it makes the award unique as it is not based on sales figures. More details will be available in our March newsletter.

This year we will be launching SIGs: small group meetings where delegates can discuss industry or software specific challenges and technical requirements in more detail than we would usually have time for. Because we are trying to create workshop type discussions initially the groups will be restricted to a dozen members and only one member per company. They will be half day meetings.

HMRC is introducing a new way of reporting PAYE - called Real Time Information, or RTI.

From April 2013, employers will be legally required to report PAYE in real time. This means that information about all PAYE payments needs to be submitted to HMRC online each time a payment is made as part of the payroll process, rather than at the end of the year as they are now.
